Open Opportunities specialises in training in Open Source Software technologies on multiple computing platforms. The majority of our services are centered around OpenOffice.org and include Migration Consultancy, End User Training and Certification as well as software customisation and OpenOffice.org extension development .
Enduser training programmes are also supported for The GIMP, the Open Source Photo/Bitmap editor, Inkscape Vector Graphic editor and Audacity Sound Editor. Programmes for other Open Source software can be developed on request
Programmes are also available for an introduction to Linux on the Desktop, specifically SuSE Linux Enterprise.
Open Opportunities has it's own training facility at it's Centrally located Head Office in Tokoroa, but has facilities to be able to move a complete classroom set of computer terminals to a clients facility or other suitable venue to suit each clients needs.
Open Opportunities tutors are all certificated teachers and certified INGOTs assessors in order to maximise the learning for people of any learning style.

SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop and OpenSUSE are OpenOpportunities chosen Operating Systems. However all of the Applications that Open Opportunities delivers on, are cross platform and all are functionally identical across all platforms whether Windows variants, Mac OSX, Linux or Solaris.
